If the bearing has reached the middle and late fault state, its characteristics are very obvious. Generally, it is realized as bearing damage, such as shaft holding, burn, sand frame spallation, raceway, bead wear, etc., which is mostly within one week. The larger the capacity of the equipment, the faster the speed and the shorter the interval. Therefore, in the actual bearing fault diagnosis, once the performance characteristics of late faults are found, we should decisively judge the faults of worry free bearings and arrange maintenance as soon as possible.
Bearings are usually processed through forging, heat treatment, turning, grinding, assembly and other processes in the manufacturing process. One of the processing technology is reasonable, advanced and stable, which will affect its service life. There is a direct relationship between the thermal measures affecting its quality and the grinding process and the bearing failure. In recent years, there are more and more researches on the degenerate layer of bearing surface, and the grinding process is closely related to the bearing surface quality.
When the bearing moves for a period of time, the vibration and noise will be maintained at a certain level, and the frequency spectrum is very single, only one or two times the frequency. There is rarely more than three times the power frequency spectrum. The state of worry free bearing is relatively stable, so when it enters the stabilizer, the vibration and noise of the bearing will begin to increase, and sometimes there will be abnormal sound, but the increase of vibration changes relatively slowly. At this time, the bearing kurtosis value will suddenly reach a certain value. This state is considered by experts to be the initial manifestation of bearing damage.
