The common installation tools of rolling bearings include hammer, copper rod, sleeve, special backing plate, screw mosquito fixture, press, etc. the measuring tools include vernier caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, etc., but different tools should be selected according to different bearing models.
After selecting the correct tool, the bearing can be installed. During installation, pay attention to whether there are bumps, rust layers, wear debris, sand particles, dust and soil. If any, it will cause installation difficulties. It is necessary to keep the assembly surface of imported bearing and the surface of matched parts clean.
In addition to the cleaning of the assembly surface of rolling bearing and the surface of matched parts, pay attention to whether there is corrosion layer on the surface of journal, bearing seat shell hole, shoulder end face, and connecting parts such as bushing, washer, end cover, etc? If any, it can be filed off and polished with fine emery cloth before installation.
1. In terms of bearing speed, the bearing is determined according to the type, size, accuracy, cage type, load, lubrication mode, cooling mode and other factors.
2. For the installation and disassembly of bearings, they need to be removed and installed frequently in specific applications to ensure that they can be inspected and repaired according to their location. Bearings with separate inner and outer rings, such as cylindrical bearings, needle roller bearings and conical bearings, are very suitable for this occasion. With the help of the shaft sleeve, the installation procedure of the taper hole type self-aligning ball bearing and self-aligning roller bearing is also simplified.
3. In some cases, preloading shall be applied to the rolling bearing to increase the rigidity. This procedure is usually used for the offset of the inner and outer rings of deep groove ball bearing, centripetal thrust ball bearing and tapered roller bearing, shaft bending, the change of tolerance of shaft or bearing housing, and matching error will lead to the eccentricity of the inner and outer rings. In order to prevent excessive eccentric angle, self-aligning ball bearing, self-aligning roller bearing, or self-aligning bearing seat are better choices. Voice frequency and torque, dynamic bearings are manufactured according to high-precision standards, so voice and torque are small. Deep groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings are used for occasions with special requirements for low noise and low torque.
