Methods of removing rust on bearing surface
Frequent use of bearings, if not regularly cleaned, the oil will reduce its service life. Some readers recommend the following methods to share with you.
The bearing hardened by soft dry oil or antirust paste should be immersed in 100 ℃ ~ 200 ℃ hot engine oil, clamp the bearing with pliers, and brush the oil on the bearing with a brush. The soft dry oil or antirust paste will melt when heated to 100 ℃ ~ 200 ℃, and it is easy to wash out from the gap of the bearing. Sometimes just shake the bearing in the oil many times. Oil will also flow through the cracks. When cleaning the radial spherical bearing of bearing, the ball, ball frame and inner ring should be horizontally turned out from the outer ring and then immersed in hot oil. When cleaning the short cylindrical roller bearing, the roller, ball frame, inner ring and outer ring should also be separated. In hot oil cleaning, the oil temperature should not exceed 20 ℃.
Surface cleaning
The proper cleaning method must be selected according to the properties of the surface to be rusted and the conditions at that time. The commonly used methods are solvent cleaning, chemical treatment cleaning and mechanical cleaning.
Dry with compressed air
After the surface is dry and cleaned, it can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, or with a dryer at 120 ~ 170 ℃, or with clean gauze.
