Preparation for routine inspection of bearings

The preparation for routine inspection of bearing is completed in the following six steps:
1. Rotate the outer ring and carefully wash the junction of cage, rolling element and raceway. It is required to thoroughly clean the original oil stains left in any concealed parts. After the bearings are cleaned, the attached cleaning oil should be drenched and dried on the workbench lined with clean neutral liner paper, or slowly dried in the far-infrared oven. Do not rotate the bearing ring, bracket or any rolling element during the whole process from washing oil dries to air drying or drying. The oil seal package of rolling bearing can be removed and immersed in wash gasoline or acid free kerosene containing 3% engine oil shortly before delivery for routine inspection.
2. The lubricating oil shall be dripped as required and delivered for inspection immediately, and the bearing that has been dried or dried. At this time, there is no oil film protection on the outer surface of the bearing, and it is not allowed to directly touch the skin of the hand during the whole inspection process. The operator should wear clean gloves or apply anti rust agent on the hand, but the anti rust agent on the hand must be avoided to mix with the rolling surface of the bearing, otherwise the measurement result will be deviated.
3. It should be delivered to use immediately or be treated with anti rust inventory. The whole inspection process should be completed as soon as possible. After the inspection of the bearing is completed. In order to avoid corrosion caused by too long time. Note that the use of pure gasoline without engine oil cleaning will also cause corrosion.
4. The bearing that has been dried or dried should be dripped with lubricating oil and delivered for inspection immediately. At this time, there is no oil film protection on the outer surface of the bearing. During the whole inspection process, the hand skin should not be touched directly. The operator should wear clean gloves or apply antirust agent on the hand, but the antirust agent on the hand must be avoided from mixing into the rolling surface of the bearing, otherwise the measurement result will be deviated.
5. After the inspection, the bearing should be delivered for use or treated with anti rust inventory immediately, and the whole inspection process should also be completed quickly, so as not to cause corrosion for too long. Note that the use of pure gasoline without engine oil cleaning will also cause corrosion.
6. Before the inspection, the bearing must be placed on a metal plate in the inspection site together with the gauge block, standard parts and measuring instruments used in the inspection, so that the temperature of these objects can be homogenized and the room temperature can be changed quickly.
