Fracture surface treatment process for cage of self aligning ball bearing

In order to maintain the original performance of the ball bearing in good condition as long as possible, maintenance and maintenance shall be carried out to prevent accidents from happening, ensure the reliability of operation and improve the production and economy. The maintenance should be carried out regularly according to the operation standard of corresponding mechanical operation conditions. The contents include monitoring operation status, replenishing or replacing lubricant, and inspection of regular disassembly. As the maintenance items in operation, there are rotating sound, vibration, temperature, lubricant state of the ball bearing.

Cleaning of the aligning ball bearing: when removing the lower bearing for maintenance, first record the appearance of the ball bearing, confirm the remaining lubricant quantity, and then wash the centring ball bearing after sampling and checking the lubricant. As a cleaning agent, gasoline and kerosene are commonly used.

The removed center adjusting ball bearing shall be cleaned in coarse and fine cleaning. The bearing shall be placed in the container, and the metal mesh base shall be placed first to prevent the bearing from contacting the container dirt directly. If the ball bearing rotates with dirt, it will damage the rolling surface of the ball bearing during rough cleaning, so it should be paid attention to. In the crude cleaning oil, use brush to remove grease and adhesive, and after cleaning, turn to fine cleaning.

Fine cleaning is to rotate the center ball bearing in the cleaning oil and carefully clean it. In addition, the cleaning oil should be kept clean frequently.

The quality of the bearing cage is very good, but in the daily operation of the ball bearing, the incorrect operation will reduce the life of the cage and even lead to its fracture. What are the situations that will cause the cage of the ball bearing to break?

According to the research and analysis of the relationship between fracture toughness and other materials and the crack development process of materials, it is not difficult to see that the surface treatment of high-speed steel and the change of hardening surface depth of high-speed steel with low carbon content are of great significance under the condition of high DN value and circumferential stress. Therefore, the surface treatment technology of the material is developed, which can enhance the surface hardness and produce the pressure stress. The surface treatment materials have the following characteristics: good fatigue crack resistance. In the second stage, the fracture toughness of the core materials caused by the low crack growth rate and the low quenching or low carbon content is higher.

The developed surface treatment methods include:

(1) The surface hardening layer of the ordinary high-speed steel which is not quenched is treated locally by laser, electron beam or induction quenching. It is necessary to point out that the quenching is insufficient to improve the fracture toughness.

(2) The surface hardening layer was obtained by chemical heat treatment. This method includes infiltration of carbon or nitrogen into the microstructure of ordinary high speed steel, or small changes in carbon content.
